Privacy Policy for the «MC Teacher» Application

1. General provisions
This Privacy Policy describes what data is processed by the mobile application MC Teacher (hereinafter — the Application), what it is used for, to whom it is transferred, and how it is protected.
The «MC Teacher» Application is developed by the INTERSCHOOL ONLINE platform (Individual Entrepreneur Serhii Anatoliiovych Nochovkin) and is provided to teachers of educational institutions that use this platform (in particular, Montessori Center). A teacher's Google account must belong to the domain of the corresponding institution (for example, @montessori.ua).
The owner of the Application and the operator (controller) of personal data is:
Serhii Anatoliiovych Nochovkin (Individual Entrepreneur), trading name INTERSCHOOL ONLINE.

2. What data the Application processes
2.1. Data received from the user at sign-in
When signing in to the Application via Google Sign-In, the following is transmitted:
- the email address of the Google work account;
- the name and avatar associated with this account.
The Application does not provide for free-form entry of personal data by the user.
2.2. Data generated by the device
The Application uses:
- the device FCM token — a unique identifier issued by the Firebase Cloud Messaging service, required to deliver push notifications;
- the device time zone — for correct display of lesson times in the teacher's local time.
2.3. Data received from the institution's server and displayed to the teacher
After sign-in, the Application receives from the educational institution's server and displays to the teacher:
- information about the teacher themselves: full name, country, time zone, role in the institution;
- the teacher's lesson schedule;
- information about students in their lessons: full name, date of birth or age, gender, country, time zone, balance status, attendance marks;
- full names of parents or legal guardians of students under 18 years of age;
- summary information about other teachers of the institution and the occupancy of classrooms.
This data is not collected by the Application from the user — it is stored in the educational institution's information system and is provided to the teacher for the performance of their professional duties in accordance with the access rights established by the institution.
2.4. Data generated by the teacher through the Application
During work, the teacher generates through the Application and transmits to the institution's server attendance marks for students at lessons («Б» — present, «Н» — absent). This data is stored in the institution's information system and is used for attendance accounting within the framework of the teacher's professional duties.
2.5. Data the Application does NOT request and does NOT process
The Application does not request and does not access: geolocation, user contacts, SMS, call history, photos and media files, microphone, camera, biometric data.

The Application does not use the processed data:
- for displaying advertising;
- for analyzing user behavior or targeting;
- for transferring to third parties for marketing purposes.
The Application does not contain third-party SDKs for analytics, user behavior tracking systems, advertising networks, or trackers.
4. Third parties involved in processing
The Application uses the following Google services:
- Google Sign-In — for authentication of the teacher by their Google work account. The data described in section 2.1 is transmitted. The use is governed by the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — for delivery of push notifications. The device token and the content of notifications are transmitted. The use is governed by the Firebase terms: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
The server part of the Application is hosted on the Google Cloud Run infrastructure. Technical data about requests (IP address, HTTP metadata) are processed by Google Cloud as part of providing hosting services in accordance with the Google Cloud terms: https://cloud.google.com/terms/cloud-privacy-notice.
No data is transferred to any other third parties.
5. Data storage
5.1. On the user's device
The following are stored locally on the device in secure storage (Android Keystore):
- the session authorization token;
- the FCM token cache and a snapshot of the system locale (for correct operation of background notifications);
- user settings of the Application.
Local storage data is encrypted by the operating system and is not transmitted outside the device, except for routine interaction with the Application's server.
5.2. On the server
The Application's server stores:
- accounts and session tokens of the institution's teachers;
- FCM tokens of devices for sending notifications;
- technical snapshots of schedule state for change detection.
Data about students, parents and legal guardians, schedule, and other information of the educational institution reside in the institution's own information system; the Application accesses them to display to the teacher within the framework of their work duties.
5.3. Retention period
- Local data on the device is stored until the user signs out of the account or uninstalls the Application.
- Session tokens are valid for 30 days from the last activity and automatically become invalid after this period is exceeded.
- FCM tokens of inactive devices are periodically deleted.
- Data about the teacher in the accounting system is processed within the period established by the educational institution.
6. Security
- All network communication between the Application and the server takes place over the secure HTTPS protocol with encryption of data in transit.
- Local confidential data on the device is stored in encrypted form using the system Android Keystore.
- Access to the Application's server requires a valid session token; access to student data is limited by the teacher's rights and is verified on the server with each request.
7. User rights
The user has the right to:
- request information about the processed data relating to them;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of data processed by the Application;
- withdraw consent to data processing by ceasing use of the Application and signing out of the account.
To exercise any of these rights, a request must be sent to the email address interschool@interschool.online from the user's work account. Requests are processed within reasonable time, typically within 30 days.
Deletion of data relating to the teacher's account in the educational institution's information system is carried out in agreement with the institution itself.
8. Children
The Application is not intended for use by children. Users of the Application are adult teachers of educational institutions. The Application does not request or collect data directly from persons under 18 years of age.
Information about students under 18 years of age (full name, date of birth, full names of parents or legal guardians) is displayed to the teacher as part of the schedule and student card for the performance of professional duties; this data is stored in the educational institution's information system, which has the corresponding lawful basis for its processing, while the Application serves merely as an interface for its display to an authorized teacher.
Information about student balance status is displayed to the teacher only in a generalized form («positive» / «zero» / «negative») as part of the work information necessary for conducting lessons. Precise amounts and payment data are neither displayed nor processed by the Application.
9. Changes to the Policy
This Policy may be amended. The current version is always available at https://interschool.online/privacy-mc-teacher/. In the case of substantial changes, users will be notified through the Application.
