Course Overview
The classical guitar course is conducted online and is designed for children aged 6 and older, as well as adults with no age restrictions. In our classical guitar course, you will learn to play your favorite melodies, jazz, and contemporary guitar pieces, as well as master reading music. We have developed a training program divided into levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. A preparatory level is available for children from 6 years old.
Each guitar lesson lasts 45 minutes and is conducted individually. Our instructors teach in Russian, Ukrainian, and English, offering students the choice of language for their lessons. The guitar lesson schedule is tailored individually for each student, considering their availability and preferences to maximize convenience.
We conduct our online classical guitar lessons on the best platforms - Google Meet and Zoom. Our guitar teachers are highly educated in music, have extensive experience, and many are active performing musicians.
The frequency of online classical guitar lessons is tailored individually for each student. We recommend attending lessons at least twice a week to ensure steady progress and to make learning not too challenging. This way, the student doesn't have a long gap until the next lesson, and the material is easily and effectively assimilated.
Students of our school participate in concerts, competitions, and masterclasses, after which each participant receives a diploma or certificate confirming their level of knowledge and musical skills. Additionally, students are awarded a certificate upon completing each module and level.
Description of Methodology
The teaching method for classical guitar is an original program by the Montessori Center, aimed at the individual achievements of each student and suitable for both children and adults.
Our method is based on setting specific musical goals for students from the beginning of their education. These goals are musical pieces of a certain level of complexity, mastering which becomes the student's task for that period of learning. Instead of standard exams and tests, the assessment of skills is conducted through performances at concerts and participation in music competitions, where a successful performance confirms the achievement of the set goal.
Advantages of the Methodology
1. Clear Goal: Setting specific tasks helps students understand their objectives and provides a clear direction for achieving these goals in guitar playing.
2. Flexibility in Learning Duration: Our program allows students to progress at their own pace, depending on how quickly they master guitar playing skills.
3. Real Stage Experience: Performances and competitions offer practical experience and the opportunity to apply guitar playing skills on stage, which is more preferable than traditional exams.
4. Accessibility for All Ages: Our teaching method is suitable for both children and adults, ensuring universality and accessibility of musical education in classical guitar.
5. Opportunity for Continued Learning: After achieving all goals, students can continue to develop their performance skills, constantly improving their guitar playing mastery.
Our method of teaching classical guitar is suitable for students of all levels of preparation and assumes an individual path of development, from beginners to experienced guitarists aspiring to perfect their skills.
This flexible and student-centered approach to learning makes the process more dynamic and less stressful. Students can enjoy musical education, focusing on achieving their personal goals in guitar playing.
In conclusion, our method of teaching classical guitar emphasizes the importance of an individual approach and creates a motivating educational environment. It provides students with comprehensive guitar playing skills, confidence, inspiration, and a lifelong interest in music.
Preparatory Level
The preparatory program for classical guitar is designed for children from the age of 6. In these early years, young students in online guitar lessons are introduced to the basics of musical theory, proper hand positioning, and primarily, they start playing from the first lessons. The development of correct skills and gradual mastery of basic guitar techniques form the foundation and key components of guitar artistry. The earlier a child begins guitar training, the greater their chances of developing high-level performance skills!
Beginner Level
At the beginner stage, students fully absorb the basics of musical theory and learn to read guitar notes and tablatures, forming the foundation of their musical education. This period includes mastering rhythm, melody, and various musical signs necessary for the correct performance of musical pieces. By the end of this course, students can play simple classical and modern compositions, possessing basic guitar techniques and coping with pieces of beginner-level complexity.
Intermediate Level
At the intermediate level, students acquire all the key skills needed to perform more complex guitar compositions. Special attention is given to developing guitar techniques, performance confidence, and musical expressiveness. Musical expressiveness includes the ability to convey the emotional context of the piece, making the performance more profound and memorable.
Advanced Level
At the advanced level, students learn complex guitar pieces, recreating the author's intent and style of music. They study various playing techniques, master numerous guitar techniques, and develop skills in phrasing and dynamics.
By the end of the classical guitar course, students can perform complex pieces, fully conveying the author's intent and musical style. They deeply understand the essence of the guitar piece and express it through their play, applying all the technical skills learned. The students have developed performance skills and guitar playing techniques.
Over the years of training, a deep understanding of musical theory and harmony is also formed, allowing students to professionally analyze and interpret guitar compositions. Attention is given to working with musical equipment: amplifiers, speakers, and sound processing capabilities.
Finally, throughout the course, performance skills are actively developed. Students become active participants in concerts and competitions, gaining necessary public performance experience, which contributes to their stage confidence and ability to manage emotions in front of an audience. As a result of completing the training, students possess all the necessary skills and knowledge for professional guitar performance.
Course Objectives
One of the main objectives of the classical guitar course is to master the technique of playing the guitar, as the guitar is a unique and irreplaceable musical instrument. For a beginner guitarist, this means developing flexibility and hand coordination, critically necessary for performing complex musical compositions with precise rhythm and accuracy. This requires regular practice and refinement of one's performance art.
Additionally, students are taught various guitar methods that allow them to modify playing techniques depending on the musical context and desired emotional expression.
Another important goal of the training is to acquire skills in reading music and tablature. These are essential skills for every guitarist, facilitating the interpretation of musical pieces and transforming written music into live performance. After achieving this goal, our students can independently analyze and perform compositions found on the internet or other sources.
One of the course's aims is to learn to perform pieces from a variety of genres. This contributes to the development of performance confidence, teaches how to manage stage fright, and allows students to assess their progress in the context of other guitarists' performance. The primary goal of the lessons is not competition but continuous improvement and enjoyment of the guitar-playing process.
The Benefits of Guitar Lessons

Socialization. In group lessons or when participating in ensembles, you can make new friends who also have an interest in music. Communicating with like-minded people helps improve communication skills and expand cultural horizons.
