Video Conferencing Platform: We use Zoom or Google Meet for conducting online drum lessons. If you don't have these applications yet, download and install them on your device.
Sound: Use headphones to improve the quality of communication between you and the instructor.
The link to the lesson will be sent to you in advance.
We will send you the sheet music for the lesson via email or messenger.
Print out the sheet music before the lesson starts.
Position your device for the online lesson so that the instructor can see not just the student's face but their entire posture.
Enter the Zoom or Google Meet application using the lesson link a few minutes before it starts. Check your sound and camera, and resolve any technical issues if they arise.
Instructions and Feedback: The drum instructor will give you specific guidance on how to hold the sticks, extract sound, and all this will be demonstrated by example.
Questions: Feel free to ask questions at any point during the lesson. It’s important to clarify anything that is unclear to you.
Practice: The bulk of the lesson is dedicated to practical exercises. You will play while the instructor observes, listens, and demonstrates on their example.
Instructor's Performance Demonstration: Your instructor will demonstrate certain techniques, helping you understand better how to play.
Lesson Conclusion: At the end of the lesson, you will discuss the covered material, homework, and plans for the next lesson with your instructor.
